Looking at the construction of te self through the eyes of Focault means taking a path made of archeology, history, seeking the roots of subjectification and its declinations linked to the context, in spite of every form of absolutism and metaphysics that wants to fix subjectification itself to a form of truth. To do that, we will start from reason and madness, going through the genealogic research conducted by Focault in its work of 1961, History of Madness in the Classical Age.
