The article investigates the contribution of the evolution of Iori’s Law Proposal n. 2656/2014 entitled “Discipline of the professions of the educator and of the pedagogist”, currently under the process of approval in the Italian Senate. It aims to explore the implications of its approval both in institutional and professional terms. The planning of the Law Proposal and its consequences in case of approvation for the professional identities and for the construction of the academic curricula are considered under the conceptual frameworks of the organizational learning (Argyris & Schön, 1998), of the transformative learning (Mezirow, 2003) and of the community of practice (Wenger et al., 2007).
