Since the establishment in our country of the “Day of Remembrance” (law 211/2000), the Italian students are among the most numerous visitors at theAuschwitzMuseum(Poland). The paper describes the project of the “Train of Memory” implemented for the first time in 2002 by the Tuscany Region. The essay discusses the results of a questionnaire administered to students and teachers involved in the Train of Memory in 2011 to consider the validity of the project in the Italian schools.
