Abstract

The disability and migration questions at the moment are not a subject of the scientific national and international panel discussion. The view, the needs, the difficulties, the resources, the competences of children with disabilities and their families seldom are considered as a founding part of the building process of the taking care practices. In the years, nonetheless, the empowerment and resilience process for the Italian families of children with disability allowed to improve the inclusive practices also going through the construction of trade-unions for parents that became decisive political subjects in the settlement of high-quality inclusions processes. It’s not the same for the migrant families. The research meant and means to probe the taking care and the planning practices of the educational services related with the presence of children with disability; and to sound out the idea families have about the disability of their children. The first order of this work is to know the postulate, the indicators and the direction lines put in effects in relation to the presence of migrant children with disability; to investigate the needs of families seizing any connections, resource and criticality; to get the different views connected to the phenomenon at issue. The work-research until now has allowed to emphasize some critical crux of the matter. The first one, which this article urges on, concerns the underlying logic of taking on and care and the building of the care relationships – base of the project facing the building of integration and inclusion patterns – founded on the principal of reciprocity and of dialogue.
