Abstract

The paper presents a reflection on the path of awareness of human rights, to promote the participation of women and give them full citizenship. The debate on the status of women and gender-based violence, has embraced the issue of human security as the protection of freedom vital, stimulating political systems, international law and a culture of peace and equal opportunities.
