University teaching in the prospective of Web 2.0. The Forum as a training environment

Abstract


This article documents and discusses the use of the telematic “Forum” in the teaching of Educational Technology to third year students in the degree course for Social Educators, at the Rimini branch of the Education Faculty of Bologna University. The experience also involved students on a similar course at the University of Caceres in Spain. Beginning with a brief analysis of the overall context of the forum, the author presents a description of the principal quantitative data alongside reflections of a qualitative nature before concluding with some final considerations regarding the limits and positive aspects of the use of telematics in the training of adults.
