Rethinking the Welcome: Which pedagogical models for new planning.

The author proposes a reflection on the pedagogical and care aspects of the temporary hosting of foreign children by Italian families. About 35 000 young foreigners are hosted as part of a humanitarian project in Italy. In 2005 alone, 1123 children were hosted in Emilia Romagna. This monitoring project, proposed by he Department of Educational Science at the University of Bologna is part of a larger project for hosting Palestinian, Byelorussian, Saharawi and Serbian children organised by the European and International Relations Service of the Emilia Romagna region.Downloads
